Memory is meaning. How you choose to preserve your memories now will affect how you remember them in the future. I specialize in making films you can feel - timeless heirlooms using real moments, natural sound and all the feeling from your wedding day. Sometimes this is referred to as documentary wedding videography because it allows your wedding film to breathe with the real emotion of your day, but I think this actually feels more “cinematic" and like an actual film.

With 15 years experience filming hundreds of weddings and elopements, Candeo Films began because I’m passionate about capturing real moments between two lovers. Digital and 16mm film videography.

My films are designed to feel like cinema. I love to use candid moments in addition to the formalities. The ceremony and speeches are beautiful, but I find there is so much more to a wedding day. More than the details, poses or beautiful landscapes, what’s most fascinating to me are the people I’m documenting.

Bespoke

I’m passionate about handcrafting your films, so I never use templates. I create story-forward wedding films using your personality, your style and taste, and your family and friends. My goal is for you to see yourself in the film.

Connection

It’s impossible to tell the story of a couple I don’t know. We’ll meet together multiple times in the lead up to your wedding - with time dedicated to creative brainstorming as well as the logistics. Together we’ll figure out the things that make you tick as a couple.
